Work Apprasial

Some people work for the money, some work or a better profiling and some work for the sake of working.....

Well..... recently I just did my appraisal..... after talking to my supervisiors, I realise that after all the hard work I contribute for the past year, my work is not recognised and appreciated (Haha, that's for being a civil servant).

So when they asked me what areas have I improved to contribute more to the department. Hmmmmm... I thought aloud for quite some time and said to myself.... "You have put me into a crapy team..... after I came in more staff are leaving..... which means more work and shit to cover..... to date I alone have to cover 5 portfolios, enough to open a library.... I don't even have time for myself.... I am doing almost the same things like the year before...... WHAT IN THE WORLD CAN YOU ASK SUCH A DUMB QUESTION!!!!!"..... hey, of course they shocked...

I explained to them the workload that I have, but yet nothing is done to assist me.... not that I can blame on my team members the team does not have enough people to support the work...

I apologise for this post..... I just letting out my fustration.......

(Hmmmm.... sometimes I wonder if there is anyone in the civil service ever blow whistle)

Are they going the wrong way?

The answer to that is NO.....

Singaporeans hardly ever read signs... hardly they think of others too... such signs are put up so that the traffic can go smoothly.... as you can see here... hardly anyone does that..

I ever tried blocking such people.... it may surprise you that they will get angry at you and snarl at you.... hey read the sign you are in the wrong, why snarl at me for???

sign....

I told you so

Some may have heard.... Something had happened to my family.... My brother had met an accident on Tuesday morning.....

My brother is keen to have a motor-cycle for a few months. He had even came to me to be his guarantor when he wanted to buy a bike (best lie I ever heard in my life, according to him, only family members can be guarantor, yeah right..... I was born yesterday). Instead I did a show and tell to my dad, he end up being scolded and the whole family is not talking to him for nearly a week. As usual, he blame on me. In my opinion, I am concern about safety, my next reason to reject him has also got to do about the lie he told me..

Several weeks had passed, and eventually he go his bike.... as usual the family turn against him and scolded him. In the end, what to do, bought already..... let him be.... tried every thing to discourage him to buy one... yet still bought one eventually.... sign.....

Months gone by, I have not talked to my brother (I hardly see him anyway). My parents had told me that he been using his bike to work as delivery for Maccas. I just nod and didn't care less about his life....

Yesterday morning, my dad gave me a call early in the morning when I was on my way to work... "Your brother met an accident, now in hospital. Your mom tried waking you up earlier, but you kept sleeping. Visit him after work."

Hmmmm... accident... well done..... "I told you so well." That ended me moody for the whole day, my concern is more towards my parents, they care for my brother more over the years, so it is no big surpise to me...

Today he finally came home.... the result.. he need to wear a brace for 5 weeks, only can consume liquid.... bes t part the total damages cost him and my parents a whopping $6k... now the family have to think of ways to come out the sum of money from my brother's CPF, insurance, oh! not to forget my parent's CPF as well..... bear in mind the CPF money is for their retirement funds.

why youngsters now a days hardly listens....

Morning bus situation

Hey, it is my first time writing a blog... might as well give a try... hahaha

Every morning there are definately some early birds who got to go to work. It is not that they are crazy or something, just maybe got work commitments.

Let me give you my experience in my mornings while waiting for bus and train.

There are usually a bunch of passengers waiting for the first bus to come. Usually you can see the bus coming in a distant. Here come s the fun part... There is a campaign in Singapore for flagging the bus early... well, these passengersI believe are very concerned Singaporeans... They start flagging the bus just when the bus turned from the intersection which is nearly 500 meters away.

Queuing: Just as the bus comes by, these passengers can be annoying most of the time.... they like to crowd around the enterence hoping to be the first one that board the bus so that they can find a seat when they board the bus... for god sake.... where are the manners for these people... shuffling and pushing the passengers in front of them so that they can get in... sometimes it make me wonder if the courtsey campaign ever work since its launch... disapponinting...

While the bus is reaching its final destination, in fact just as the bus about to leave for its last destination from its last bus stop... passengers are rushing to the exits as if there is a fire in the bus and they want out... some of these passengers are tapping out early so that they hope they can save some money per ride... (never that these people know... it is a shuttle bus ride around the town... the BUS FARE is the SAME even if you take the whole bus ride) It is quite hard not to notice that these passengers do not want to get off the bus in an orderly fashion... you can feel people are pushing you from the back, sometime you can hear them grunting or mumbling to themselves "Why is this fool walking so slow??? I want to get out!!!"

After I got off the bus, a sign of relieve that another morning ride is over... (As if a war is over from all the pushing and shuffling...) It bothers me everytime that how bad people can behave in Singapore.
